Why do some christians think god is ok with divorce?

Too many folks listening to a preacher "tickling" their ears for money. The ONLY reason ever given for divorce was adultery. There are those cases where spousal abuse is life threatening, then The Almighty will intercede, but not "just because" he( or she) doesn't make me happy, or make enough money, those WILL NOT fly with The Almighty. If you really sit down with your "human" owners manual, and study this subject out, the end results of divorce and adultery are VERY costly, and the penalty is VERY painful. Haven't seen a "happy" couple that wrongfully divorced and re-married others.
