How do i get my lost emails back?

i sent an email through BlackBoard to one of my professors. when i hit send it asked what email i would like to use so i put in my yahoo email address. it then asked for pop server info so i input that as well. now my yahoo email box is empty and there is no link(that i could find) on the blackboard site. how do i get my emails back?
