New to billiards... need help on picking the right stick for me?

im not a beginner in pool but this is the first time i will buy my own stick... i have always used the sticks in the pool rooms instead of my own.... now im ready to take the jump and purchase one... the only problem is that im completely a noob when it comes to pool sticks... so with that said i need help picking the right stick for me... im wanting about a 19-20 oz stick but after that idk about... i dont want to spend no more than about $150 and since im still a beginner/intermediate(i have my good nights) i dont want to purchase any high dollar pool stick... any suggestions? by suggestions i will take websites brands specific sticks or advice anything to help me come to a conclusion of what stick to buy...
