Electra bike? is it worth it?

I am in LOVE with the electra Blanc Noir! I want it so badly, but my mother see it as a waste of money. I don't see the problem because I want to buy it myself. Do you know the cheapest place to buy one? How to convince my parents? or do you think i would be better off buying one of their cheaper bikes like the Hawaii?
