Has anyone ever submitted form 4187 for the Army?

My husband recently came up on orders, and he submitted a 4187 stabilization for soldiers with children in high school. Our son is a sopre in high school, we have already got the letter from his high school and my husband has submitted the 4187. I know it is completely up to the Army and they will send us where ever my husband is needed, so I don't need to hear all that. Im just wondering if anyone has successfully received stabilization by using the form 4187 and if so how long did take, We have orders for Fort Riley in June.
