How do I fix the gas smell comming from my lawn mower?

you have a clic problem..the gasket that sits between the tank and carb is bad. it is 3 dollars at theisens. Now if it were flooding out and u smelled gas, then you need to remove the br nut from the bottom of the metal bowl that sits under your carbs, and clean the tiny needle valve that retrics gasflow...since it is not flooding, it is the gasket......you will not leak gas but you will smell it
