Why did the Council of Nicea choose to omit the Flintstones from the Bible?

You would think that when they were putting the Bible together, they would have wanted to tell the story of how dinosaurs and man co-existed. Since its God's perfect word, and evolution is a myth, why did the leave out the one story that supports those claims?
